Overview of Isolation Precautions and Practices

In this module you will obtain knowledge on isolation practice, history of guidelines in isolation precautions, standards precautions and how it is different from universal precautions, dangerous body fluids, hand hygiene and personal protective equipment.
This module shall also focus on transmission-based precautions, handling of contaminated material and responsibilities of healthcare workers.
