It will further discuss on how to identify adverse patient outcomes associated with unintended perioperative hypothermia, areas where cost savings can be recognised by maintaining normothermia, benefits of pre-warning to help unintended perioperative hypothermia.
You shall also obtain knowledge on modalities of warming, difference between passive and active warming, forced-air warming, best practices for preventing SSIs, rationale for normothermia measures, proven methods of warming and lastly fluid and pre-warming.
