About the course
This training course provides a comprehensive introduction to the Method Verification and Validation process in Microbiological Testing, focusing on the ISO 16140-3:2021/ IS 17113 (Part 3):2022 Standards. Participants will gain a deep understanding of the principles and guidelines on the Verification and Validation of Microbiological Testing methods. Training Shall Broadly Cover
- Understand the significance of Method Verification and Validation for Microbiological Testing.
- A structured & comprehensive interpretation of ISO 16140-3:2021/ IS 17113 (Part 3):2022 standards.
- Concepts and guidelines for validating the reliability of references and validating different methods.
- Exercises/Workshops with real-life scenarios and case studies to make the training session interactive and more engaging.
- The Course will discuss performance characteristics such as detection limit, root cause analysis, and acceptability limits.
- Statistical analysis techniques regarding acceptance criteria and data verification and validation.
- Develop competency in performing Method Verification and Validation procedures to ensure accordance with ISO and Indian Standards will be significantly strengthened.
- Dedicated ‘Question and Answer’ sessions to facilitate and provide participants with the opportunity to engage actively, seek clarification, and deepen their understanding through interactive dialogue.
Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites for attending the Training ‘Method Verification and Validation for Microbiological Testing. However, it is preferred if the participant has a fair knowledge of food and Microbiology.
