About ISO/IEC 17029:2019
ISO/IEC 17029:2019 specifies general principles and requirements for the competence, consistent operation, and impartiality of bodies performing validation/verification as conformity assessment activities. This document is applicable to validation/verification bodies in any sector, providing confirmation that claims are either plausible with regard to the intended future use (validation) or truthfully stated (verification). However, results of other conformity assessment activities (e.g. testing, inspection, and certification) are not considered to be subject to validation/verification according to this document. Neither are situations where validation/verification activities are performed as steps within another conformity assessment process.

- A structure, and comprehensive interpretation of the requirements of ISO/IEC 17029:2019 for implementation validation and verification bodies
- Requirements of ISO 14065:2020 ‘General principles and requirements for bodies validating and verifying environmental information’
- Exercises/Workshops with real-life scenarios and case studies to make the training session interactive and more engaging
- Management System Requirements
- The requirements of accreditation by the National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB) shall also covered
- Dedicated ‘Question and Answer’ sessions to facilitate and provide participants with the opportunity to engage actively, seek clarification, and deepen their understanding through interactive dialogue
Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites for attending the Training ‘General Principles and Requirements of ISO/IEC 17029:2019 for Validation and Verification Bodies’. However, it is preferred if the participant has a basic understanding of quality management principles and a basic understanding of the Validation and Verification Process.
