About the course
This training course provides a comprehensive introduction to the Method Verification and Validation process in Chemical Testing, focusing on the SANTE 11312:2021, AOAC Guideline, ICH Guidelines.
Participants will gain a deep understanding of the principles and guidelines on the Verification and Validation of Chemical Testing especially Estimation methods of various Residues, Toxins and Contaminants in Foods.
Through lectures and practical exercises, participants will learn the essential steps for Method Verification and Validation, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and compliance with International and Indian Standards.
Training Shall Broadly Cover
- To understand the significance of Method Verification and Validation for Chemical Testing.
- A structured & comprehensive interpretation of SANTE 11312:2021 and other applicable guidelines.
- Detailed concepts and guidelines for validating the reliability of references and validating various methods to conclude fit for purpose.
- Exercises/ Workshops with real-life scenarios and case studies to make the training session interactive and more engaging.
- The Course will discuss performance characteristics such as Specificity, Selectivity, Matrix Effects, Detection limit, Quantification Limit, Accuracy, Precision, Reproducibility, Ruggedness, Robustness of the methods, Concept of MRL, MRPL, Linearity, etc.
- Statistical analysis techniques regarding acceptance criteria and data verification and validation.
- To develop competency in performing Method Verification and Validation procedures to ensure fitness for purpose as well as per standard and Regulatory requirements.
- Dedicated ‘Question and Answer’ sessions to facilitate and provide participants with the opportunity to engage actively, seek clarification, and deepen their understanding through interactive dialogue.
Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites for attending the Training ‘Method Verification and Validation for Microbiological Testing. However, it is preferred if the participant has a fair knowledge of food and Chemical Analysis.
Assessment
- Pre-Assessment: There shall be a Pre-Assessment for Knowledge Check, whereby we shall be able gauge the specific needs of the Participant.
- Post-Assessment: There shall be a Post-Assessment for Knowledge Check, whereby we shall be able to analyse the Participant has achieved the learning objectives.
