About ISO/IEC 17065:2012
ISO/IEC 17065:2012 specifies the general requirements for bodies operating certification schemes and provides guidance on the certification process. It applies to organizations that certify the conformity of products, processes, or services to standards, technical specifications, or regulatory requirements.
Training Shall Broadly Cover
- The course gives a structure, comprehensive interpretation of the requirements of ISO/IEC 17065:2012 for implementation in Product Certification Bodies
- The course will discuss the process of conducting a product certification, requirements and types of product certification schemes as per ISO/IEC 17067:2013, and documentation
- The course includes conducting internal audits and Management Reviews of Product Certification bodies, Non-conformity, and CAPA
- The requirements of accreditation by the National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB) shall also covered
- Management System Requirements
- Exercises/Workshops with real-life scenarios and case studies to make the training session interactive and more engaging
- Dedicated ‘Question and Answer’ sessions to facilitate and provide participants with the opportunity to engage actively, seek clarification, and deepen their understanding through interactive dialogue
Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites for attending the Training ‘Requirements of ISO/IEC 17065:2012 for Product Certification Bodies’. However, it is preferred if the participant has a basic understanding of quality management principles and Product Certification.
