This training program provides a structured interpretation of ESG fundamentals, drivers, and challenges, with a focus on the Indian regulatory framework. Participants will gain insights into the application of Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting (BRSR) in India, strategies for ESG implementation, and solutions to common challenges in compliance.

• Overview and Importance of ESG: Explore the role of ESG in the Indian and global context.
• ESG Basics and Global Trends: Learn about the definition, significance, key drivers, and challenges of ESG, supported by case studies.
• Indian Regulatory Landscape: Understand the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in India and key ESG regulations, such as SEBI's BRSR.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and prioritize stakeholders, including tools for engagement and communication.
• Materiality Assessment: Analyse environmental, social, and governance metrics like carbon footprint, diversity, and business ethics.
• ESG Strategy Development: Develop ESG strategies, align them with business goals, and build internal ESG frameworks.
• Data Collection and Management: Overcome challenges in ESG data collection, management, and accuracy.
• Reporting Frameworks and Best Practices: Introducing major ESG reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, BRSR, etc.) and their application.
• ESG Reporting and Assurance: Learn the importance of assurance, related standards, and the assurance process.
