This program is meant for PT Providers to know about standard ISO/IEC 17043:2010 “Conformity Assessment – General requirements for the proficiency testing”.Proficiency Testing is one of the important tools to determine the technical competence of the Testing, Calibration and Medical Testing laboratories.The need for ongoing confidence in laboratory performance is not only essential for laboratories and their customers but also for other interested parties, such as regulators, laboratory accreditation bodies and other organizations that specify requirements for laboratories.This program aims to develop a good understanding for PT Providers on interpretation of ISO/IEC 17043:2010 from PT Providers angle like how to design a PT scheme, steps to follow and requirements for conducting a PT scheme etc. Most of the requirements in this International Standard apply to those evolving areas, especially regarding management, planning and design, personnel, assuring quality, confidentiality, and other aspects, as appropriate.
