About the Course:
The Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) is the process-based, data-driven approach to improving the quality of a product or service. It operates under the belief that there is always room for improving operations, processes, and activities to improve quality. The underlying philosophy of continuous quality improvement is that when problems arise it is generally a result of poor work design, unclear instructions and the failure of leadership, not the people performing the processes. Within the quality improvement approach, employees are encouraged to analyse their work processes and make suggestions on how to improve them for better healthcare delivery.

This course will begin with an overview on the CQI.  By learning the methods of quality improvement and implementing its methods, the learner will add powerful QI tools.
